Handheld Tanning is a spray tan (formerly known as airbrush tanning) applied by one of our Norvell-certified sunless technicians. Starting with a pre-session consultation, we'll discuss your tanning goals and choose a solution and method that works best for you. The Auto Revolution Spray Booth is a first-of-its-kind, wide-open automated spray booth. The Auto Revolution uses an infrared scanner to provide a customized sunless session, and then provides total-privacy in a wide-open sunless booth. If you've tanned in other automated booths before, you'll notice a huge difference in those booths and the auto revolution. It never closes around you, so even the most claustrophobic tanner will be comfortable in the Auto Revolution.

+ Q: How long does the color last?
A: With little to no maintenance, the color from your tan will 5-7 days. At that point, it begins fading naturally. Some tanners may wish to exfoliate the remnants of their tan off at this time. With the use of our maintenance products, you can greatly extend the life of your tan. We recommend planning to spray every 10-14 days to maintain a healthy glow.
+ Q: Do you use a booth?
A: No, we don’t use a spray-tan booth. One of our professional trained staff will apply your sunless tan tan using an airbrush gun. Our staff is professionally trained by Norvell and know well how to take care of you.
+ Q: What should I wear?
A: What you wear is entirely up to you. Please remember that wherever you are covered, you will have tan lines. For women, we suggest wearing minimal bottoms (not required) and no top. If you’d like to wear a top, we suggest wearing something strapless or something you can easily move straps to prevent tan lines. For men, we suggest minimal bikini-style underwear. Please understand these are just suggestions – you can wear whatever you’d like and we want you to be comfortable. After you tan, you should wear dark, loose-fitting clothes. In the event you perspire, this will prevent bronzer running obviously on your clothes.
+ Q: Will my clothes be ruined?
A: Absolutely not. We don’t suggest wearing bright white, but the cosmetic bronzer will wash out of your clothes.
+ Q: How long does it take?
A: The sunless tan and application process is 10-15 minutes tops.
+ Q: Will I be nasty afterwards?
A: No. One of the reasons we chose the Norvell system is because the solution won’t leave you feeling sticky. After our sunless tan, you’ll dry almost instantly. The solution smells pleasant, and you’ll be good to go on to the next thing in your day.
